What happens if an alarm has been triggered?
The alarm is transmitted to the server
1. Notification
When an alarm is triggered, a sound is emitted and you receive a push notification.
2. Pre-alarm is activated
Once the alarm has been triggered, you have 10-30 seconds, depending on the alarm type, to cancel the alarm by clicking Cancel. If you have connected the bluetooth button to the app, you can cancel the pre-alarm with two short clicks on the bluetooth button.
3. Alarm is transmitted
If the pre-alarm is not cancelled, an alarm tone sounds and your alarm is transmitted to the server.
The emergency contacts are alerted by the server
All relevant information, including your location, is transmitted to the server. The server then notifies your emergency contacts via phone call, text message and/or email. The emergency contacts can access all relevant information, including your location, via a link.
What should I do in the event of a false alarm?
1. Deactivate alarm
If you wish to stop the alarm and inform your emergency contacts, click on Clear alarm.
2. Confirm deactivation
Please note that to cancel the alarm, you must first verify the cancellation via the smartphone app. Please select False alarm as the reason for clearing the alarm. Your emergency contacts will be informed of the cancellation of your alarm via a text message or email.
3. Accept calls
To ensure your wellbeing, your emergency contact will likely call you. It is crucial that you answer this call directly and confirm your wellbeing.
